A while back I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the beautiful Cindy Gomez. She is such a wonderful, happy person with a warm soul. For a while now, Cindy has been working with Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame), Mick Jagger, and Ringo Starr.

Cindy Gomez – 30×40 Inches- Series of 8

These are some of the many images we captured with Cindy. Much like when I photographed Leonard Cohen wearing angel wings, she was very receptive to my ideas including being photographed holding a snake- something that not everyone would agree to.

I am happy to say that Cindy has a new release entitled “Fuego Fatal”, her first fully spanish Mini-Album with four songs co-written by herself, as well as one song entitled “I Could Fall In Love” which was produced and written by Dave Stewart and Shakira.

Below is a link to a free download of her first single “El Mundo”.

Congratulations to Cindy on her wonderful album.

After working on commercials and music videos for over 12 years, it is exciting and challenging to be completing my first feature length documentary.
Piazza Petawawa: The Paradox sheds light on the events of the Italian Internment that took place  in Canada during World War II.

Petawawa, Ontario.

On June 10th, 1940, Prime Minister Mackenzie King announced the detainment and internment of Italian Canadians. This gave the RCMP the ability to arrest and detain any Italian Canadian without real proof of threat, disloyalty, or subversion to our government. Over 700 men (and a number of women) suffered through the internment.  Many of these men lost sons fighting in the war for Canada, others went on to risk their lives for Canada after they were released.

With the help of friends and family (Including Juno Award Winners) we have worked very hard in realizing this documentary. We can’t wait to show you the finished product this summer. We will keep you posted.
